Leisure Arts leaflet, can't remember which one, stitched on 14 ct white Aidia with DMC, finished into a quilted pillow.

Jeremiah Junction, bellpull, bunnykin

Jeremiah Junction bellpull stitched on 14 ct. off-white Aida with DMC. Added Kreinik metallic to selected areas for detail, fringed the bottom and attached to wire heart hanger.

Jeremiah Junction bellpull stitched on 28 ct. Natural Linen with DMC and Crescent Colors Erin Go Emerald for verse. Changed colors in motifs a bit. Backing, border and tabs are spruce green linen and green grosgrain ribbon for hanger, DMC for tassel.

Sherri Stepp-Aweau design from Just Cross Stitch Ornaments, stitched on 14 ct. Blue Ridge Aida in DMC, blended with Kreinik for snow on tree. Changed colors slightly in border, made kitty's bell and collar, attached mouse charm by tree, star charm to treetop, star buttons from JoAnn Fabrics to each corner, then attached matching purchased cording and stuffed with fill.

JCS Ornament Issue, design by Sherri Stepp-Aweau. Stitched with DMC on 14 Blue Ridge aida. Bunny's tail done in Whisper. Changed colors of border, added beads to tree, and attached pink Swarovski crystals for necklace. Attached Mill Hill moon buttons to each corner, attached purchased matching cording and stuffed with fill.

From a JCS Ornament Issue, Black Swan designs, stitched on 28 ct. ivory linen with DMC floss and metallic. Added kreinik to her shawl and changed broach. Trimmed with purchased gold cording and gold organza ribbon tacked to the pillow, added small rosebud to ribbon and given to my friend Britta.

Can't remember designer. Stitched on beige 18 ct. Aida, verse, reference and satin stitch border in GAST, eyelet smryna crosses below verse in Accentuate, floral border in DMC, added "He Died For You" in corner spaces with red DMC, cording made from Needle Necessities, attached plain wooden buttons to bottom of tassel.

Lynn Waters Busa design from Samplin' Country, stitched on 18 ct fiddlers lite aida in GAST for the border and my own verse, DMC for the motifs (from a Dale Burdett borders book). Attached a swan charm above quilt. Backed with green 18 ct aida, attached small green cording and stuffed with poly fill.

Homespun Elegance "Coverlet Adaptations", stitched on 28 ct. Natural Linen over one with GAST, attached blue grosgrain ribbon and filled with lavender potpourri.

Leisure Arts leaflet "Sachets & Pincushions", stitched with DMC on 14 Aida. Originally put in small farm for my Mom. Nicotine stained it nicely (argh!) gives it an antiqued look. To finish it, I first stitched eyelets in the background, backed it with green Aida, added cording made with Needle Necessities and attached Mill Hill yellow butterflies and filled with Mulberry potpourri.

Bent Creek mini kit, stitched with GAST and Whisper on 18 ct beige Aida and attached acorn charm. Trimmed to fit design, cording made with Needle Necessities and added small wooden buttons to bottom of tassel.

Cross My Heart Potpourri Bag, bunnykin

Sachet Design from Cross My Heart modified into a potpourri bag, stitched with DMC on 14 ct Butterfly Blue Aida. Added Just Nan's dragonfly charm, butterfly and an antique button. Attached small lavender cording around the top and to border the design. Cording and tassel made with DMC and DMC metallic, lined bag with Satin and attached small flowers along the cording.
